Ocean Paddler
magazine is produced by a small number of people (shown below)
who regularly run round like headless chickens trying to get too
many things done in a single day. We can be really difficult to
track down at the best of times, for which we apologise.

Graham 'Bertie'
Beckram
Bertie has been paddling for over 25 years, and is currently a
BCU Level 4 Sea, Inland and Surf Kayak Coach.
Prior to becoming a partner in Masik Publishing, Bertie was a
regular contributor to a number of other magazines, contributing
articles on technique and safety, as well as trips and
expeditions he has undertaken, and was a member of the infamous
'Paddles Test Team'.
Having spent nearly 20 years working for large financial
organisations, Bertie is responsible for all aspects of business
administration, finance etc as well as co-ordinating all IT
requirements. |

Richard Parkin
Prior
to becoming a partner in Masik Publishing, Richard was the
editor of ‘Paddles’ magazine, Britain’s best selling canoe &
kayak magazine, with 7yrs+ experience in role.
In addition to his editorial experience,
Richard has considerable experience of magazine advertising
sales, and is an experienced kayaker and freelance photographer.
Richard's main responsibility will be for the design, content,
and distribution of 'Ocean Paddler' magazine. |

Richard Cree
Richard joined us
in November 2007 to manage advertising sales. Richard is a
well-known Scottish sea kayaker, Aspirant Level 5 sea kayak
coach, and was a member of the Arctic Voice expedition earlier
this year.
Richard's main
role will be liaising with all current and potential
advertisers, so if you're interested in advertising in Ocean
